HIPs must contain the Compulsory and may contain the Optional Documents.

Internet-delivered, a HIP will be free. Hardcopy Print or CD delivery will cost £12.50 + VAT per item.

For leasehold properties the cost will vary greatly dependent upon whether the Seller can supply all the Leasehold Deeds immediately or if copies must be obtained, and how much third parties, especially Managing Agents, charge for supplying Compulsory Service Charge, Insurance, Budget, Repair and other compulsory information. WGS will be able to agree an estimate with the Seller of these costs.

WGS will provide the compulsory documents in the HIP, and we require no more than the cost we must pay to third party suppliers for this information. This is described as a disbursement.

WGS fees for acting as your Solicitor in the traditional process of selling after the HIP has been supplied and our fees for the work involved in preparing the HIP will be agreed with you. If the property does not sell you will have to pay for the fee we have paid for the HIP compulsory documents  and  only an agreed Fee with WGS for additional work undertaken.

Please discuss with the WGS representative how to arrange prompt payment for your HIP so as to speed up the preparation process.

WGS Solicitors can provide a HIP rapidly.
Provided you use WGS for the property sale we will not charge for ordering the HIP. Otherwise:
Freehold HIPs will cost from £299 + VAT.
Leasehold HIPs will cost from £329 + VAT
