Deborah Jane Levy

It is an unfortunate fact of life that not all marriages last. When a relationship breaks down, it is not unusual for one or both parties to seek to dissolve the marriage or to obtain a formal decree of judicial separation.

Deborah Levy is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme and is also an accredited specialist of Resolution (Substantial Assets and Private Children’s Law) and has trained as a Collaborative Family Lawyer. She is an experienced family solicitor who also acts for same sex couples on the breakdown of their relationship.
Deborah is widely published and some of her articles are reproduced here (see right).

Deborah works closely with Deputy District Judge Danny Glasner, this means that a wealth of experience can be brought to bear with personal attention. Your case will not be 'passed-on' to a junior or assistant.

The Government recognises that the growing number of unmarried couples who choose to live together, (including gay couples) are vulnerable on the breakdown of their relationship. Deborah will advise in this situation and also prepare pre-nuptial agreements where appropriate. Proposals to change the law for cohabiting parties mean that it is also envisaged that living together agreements, otherwise known as cohabitation contracts, may shortly become legally enforceable.
