Jerome Shapiro 90% of Jerome's work concerns property; individual commercial and investment transactions with Limited Company, joint venture and PLC clients in the Middle East, America, and Southern Africa and has strong associations with overseas law firms. Additionally Jerome undertakes commercial transactrions acting for listed companies in, for instance, the acquisition of hi-tec UK companies. As one of the leading property lawyers acting for Developers who may buy 10 or dozens of units in London annually, Jerome has knowledge and experience from the begining to the end of the development process, with strong contacts in the relevant professions: architects, surveyors, contractors, valuers, Banks, company service providers, agents, accountants. He also has a great relationship and acts for a number of Banks as a Mortgage solicitor. Working as a member of WGS's 5 strong property team, work is not assigned to juniors or assistants. Shifa Dervish is available when he is away from the office. In 2003 Jerome acted for Ampurius Holdings in the Twenty Million Pound sale of a 1.6 acre site at Canada Water to George Wimpey, advised by the Cambridge office of Eversheds.
