Amy joined WGS Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor and is now an Associate Solicitor in the Family Department. Amy has a First Class Degree in English from Goldsmiths University and was awarded a distinction for the Masters in Law from Birkbeck University. Amy completed her professional qualifications in 2015 whist working as a full-time trainee.
Amy is experienced in a range of family law matters including complex financial remedy proceedings, defended and undefended divorce proceedings, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, Children Act proceedings including international relocation matters and a variety of other cross jurisdictional Family Law matters.
Amy is described as having a detailed and forensic eye particularly in respect of drafting complex agreements. Amy is a firm believer in assisting cohabiting and married couples in reaching agreements at the early stages of their relationship to avoid the emotional and financial expense that can often otherwise arise at the end of the relationship. Amy is a member of Resolution and is committed to a conciliatory approach in resolving family law matters.
More recently Amy has advised on complex international financial remedy matters involving high net worth individuals from Russia, Lebanon and India.
