The head of our department is Margaret Lang (Partner) who is a very experienced Private Client solicitor.  She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which is the gold standard for advisers in this field and is the Regional Coordinator of the London branch of Solicitors for the Elderly. Lynn Keane is our Probate Manager and   handles estate administration, powers of attorney, deputyship and associated matters. Stephen Wegg-Prosser is the Senior Partner of WGS Solicitors and he is also involved in private client work.

Our specialism, Private Client, involves personal issues, which are often private and sensitive.  Our work includes wills, probate and estate administration, powers of attorney and deputyships, elderly client care and trusts and tax planning.  Inheritance tax planning might seem unnecessary if you are still many years off retirement, but it is a prudent move.  Making a relevant current will is vital to ensure that your assets pass as you wish and to provide security for your loved ones.  Lasting powers of attorney are invaluable if deputyship is to be avoided.

We at WGS Solicitors are well equipped to assist and guide you in such matters with understanding and support and appreciating your concerns and circumstances.
